Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania provides several public access routes, but each answers a different question. Berks Jail covers current county custody, the Clerk of Courts keeps Common Pleas criminal files, and Pennsylvania State Police runs PATCH. State custody and registry records use separate systems. We gather the verified contacts, fees, request steps, and official search links for those offices in one place.
What You Will Find Here
- Record guides: how court case records are found and read in Berks County
- Official check steps: how PATCH name checks and authorized fingerprint checks differ
- Agency contacts: where to reach Berks County and Pennsylvania record custodians
- Record relief: how Pennsylvania expungement and limited access differ
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Pennsylvania court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Its role has clear limits:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing agency, such as the Sheriff, court, or Pennsylvania State Police, can provide an official criminal record. The document must come from its custodian.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own fees, results, and service terms. A paid signup may produce a referral fee that supports site operation. We do not control a partner's pricing or search output.
